Daniel Jones – Owner, Command K9
Daniel is the former lead trainer for the Metropolitan Police Department, Washington, DC. He also served as the Region III President of the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) for eight years (1999 – 2017); and is a USPCA Level III Trainer. Daniel has earned certifications as National Detector Dog, National Patrol Dog, and Tracking Judge through the USPCA. He and his canine have received top awards competing in USPCA certification events, which include top overall patrol dog in 2013 and 2014, top overall tie for detector dog in 2014, as well as top finishes in individual events. Daniel’s dog handling experience expands 26 years with 17 years as a certified law enforcement canine trainer. Daniel keeps abreast of the latest trends and developments in the canine training industry by reading articles, attending seminars throughout the region and across the country, and communicating with some of the best canine trainers in the field.
Daniel’s passion for training is evident in meeting any challenge your canine may present. The training methodology applied to accomplish the desired training results is to work with you to train your canine in basic and/or advanced obedience both on and off leash.
